Life Policy

1. The cover shall be for a period of one year and may be extended subject to renewal of the policy and availability of the product.
2. Only Death benefit can be offered under this product.
3. Cover shall be from age 18-50 years. Maximum age of entry is 50 years and cover shall cease when a member reaches the age of 51 years.
4. In case of the Death of the insured member, claim shall be settled in favor of the nominee.
5. Customers will need to duly fill and sign and submit the customer declaration form (CDF) at the time of buying the plan.
6. Only Accidental Death shall be covered for the first 45 days from the date of joining the scheme for a member.
7. Suicide shall not be covered for the first year from the date of joining the scheme for a member.
8. Claim Settlement for Missing Person - As per the provisions of Section 108 of the Indian Evidence Act, presumption of death can be raised only after a lapse of Seven Years from the date of his / her being reported missing. As such, the nominee / legal heirs have to raise an express presumption of death of the subscriber under Section 108 of the Indian Evidence Act, before a competent court. If the court presumes that he / she is dead, then the claim in respect of a missing person can be settled on the basis of the same.
9. Service Provider shall have no liability for any incorrect or inaccurate information furnished by the customer.
