Accidental & Liquid Damage Protection is comprehensive Full Cover protection plan that covers repair cost against any Accidental/Physical/Water/Liquid Damage on Mobile Phones, Tablets, Laptops, Smart Watches and Digital Cameras or any Portable devices without any depreciation deductible(Zero Depreciation) and cashless settlement for the specified tenure mentioned in plan.

The plan shall be valid for period of One year (12 Months) on devices legally imported in India from date of purchase.

The policy can be purchased within 15 days from date of purchase of device as mentioned in Original Invoice.

Maximum 2 Claims are permissible during plan validity period to extent of product value mentioned in Original invoice.

Comprehensive coverage against any Accidental or Physical or Liquid or Water damages that occurred resulting in device breakdown. Repairs will be done from Brand Authorized Service Centers only with pick and drop facility.

Any electrical or mechanical breakdown, damage due to negligence, cosmetic repairs, theft/burglary, software/data damage, IMEI or serial number tampering, battery, consumables and accessories. For details refer detailed terms & conditions with exclusions on www.widecare.in

There are no cost to Customer for Partial Loss cases as damaged device will be repaired under cashless settlement with pick and drop facility.

In case of Total Loss cases,where the device is not repairable, or the cost of repairing device is more than 80% of existing device market value then Like to Like replacement will be given to Customer. A nominal excess fee of 2.5% of Claim value or Rs.500/- whichever is higher will be charged to Customer for every claim under Total Loss Cases.

Like to Like replacement means device is replaced with approximate same age, condition and equivalent models of damaged phone.

For partial loss cases, the device will be repaired within 7 working days for Metro and 10 working days for Non-Metro/Rural cities from date of submission of all completed documents.

In case of total loss cases where device is not repairable, then like to like replacement will be done within 15 working days from date of submission of al completed documents.

One Time Screen Replacement is Full Cover protection plan that can be availed once i.e. single time only during the active validity period of the plan. This plan covers repair cost against Accidental or Physical Damage Only on Mobile Phones, Tablets, Laptops, Smart Watches and Digital Cameras without any depreciation deductibles and cashless settlement. Liquid and Water Damage is not covered is not covered under this plan.

Extended Warranty (Also referred as Service Contract) is a comprehensive warranty program for appliancesand digital devices of all leading brands which extends manufacturer’s warranty upto 4 years from date of purchase.

Mechanical and Electrical breakdown to the extent provided by the manufacturer’s warranty for Domestic Electrical / Electronic Products manufactured in India or is legally imported in India & sold through Official Channels supported by an invoice & Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee. The Extended Warranty cover commences on expiration of the Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee period and is for a period mentioned in the “Service Contract Details” section of the Service Contract Certificate.

  • Any Product failure arising before the commencement of the Service Contract period i.e. during the Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee period or after the expiration of the Service Contract period will not be covered by this service contract.
  • Costs implicitly or explicitly covered by any manufacturers, suppliers or repairers guarantee or warranty.
  • Accidental or Liquid or Water damage to the Product.
  • Non-operating and cosmetic damage to the Product, such as damage to paintwork, Product finish, dents or scratches.
  • Accessories used in or with the Product unless covered under a separate extended warranty service contract. (for example, computer software, modem, scanner, printer and charger).
  • Replacement of any consumable item or accessory. These include, but are not limited to: - plugs, fuses, batteries, light bulbs, light covers, cables, filters, attachments, belts, toner, ribbons, drums, tapes or software, and add-on options incorporated in a Product for which the Service Contract was purchased.
  • Normal wear and tear of items not integral to the functioning of the Product.
  • Routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, adjustments or alignments, overhaul, modification and de-scaling.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repair, theft, burglary and accident including earthquake, storm and or hurricane, abuse, misuse, sand, dust, water, negligence, fire, flood, lightning, malicious damage, impact, corrosion, battery leakage, acts of god, animal or insect infestation or intrusion.
  • Damage resulting from power outage, power surges or dips, fluctuating voltage, inadequate or improper voltage or current.
  • Cost of removal or re-installation of the Product.
  • Reception or transmission problems resulting from external causes.
  • Problems or defects not covered under the original Manufacturer’s Warranty/ Guarantee.
  • Batteries, internal or external to the Product.
  • Breakdowns caused by computer virus or realignments to Products.
  • Recalls or modifications to the Product.
  • Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Costs arising from incorrect installation, modification or maintenance.
  • Costs if no fault is found with the Product.
  • Costs arising from being unable to use the Product or from damage which results from the Breakdown of the Product.
  • Commercial usage except product used in rental property, as identified in the Service Contract Certificate.
  • Damage/failure caused before or during Product delivery.
  • Use of batteries, charger and / or accessories not approved by the manufacturer, incorrect electrical leads or connection.
  • The cost of repairing, restoring or reconfiguring computer software.
  • We are not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages arising from the use or loss of use of the Product. Your & the Customers statutory rights are unaffected.

This Service Contract covers specific models of Domestic Electrical / Electronic Products such as LED Color Televisions, Washing Machines, Refrigerators, Music Systems, Air Conditioners, Microwave Ovens, Home Theaters, Air Coolers, Water Purifier, Air Purifiers, Kitchenand Electrical Appliances and any other Product that we include from time to time.

Extended Warranty commences on expiration of Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee period and is for a period of 1 Year, 2 Years & 3 Years on Consumer Applianceslike LED Color Televisions, Washing Machines, Refrigerators, Music Systems, Air Conditioners, Microwave Ovens, Home Theaters, Air Coolers, Water Purifier, Air Purifiers, Kitchenand Electrical Appliances and for period of 1 Year on Digital products like Mobile Phones, Tablets, Laptops and Smart Watches from risk of commencement date as mentioned in the service contract.

This can be bought at the time of purchase or within 30 days from the purchase of the device as per original invoice and is not transferable.

  • The Product is manufactured in India or is legally imported in India & sold through Official Channels supported by an invoice & Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee.
  • The Product is purchased new from the manufacturers’ authorized dealer / distributor and is supported by Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee of not less than 12 months and not exceeding 36 months.
  • The Product is for domestic and personal use only. Cover is not valid on Products intended for commercial, rental or profit generation purposes excluding computing products for small office / home office use.
  • The Product is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines for Product usage including but not limited to regular maintenance & upkeep of the Product.
  • Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee remains valid throughout its validity period.

  • All repairs must be made by our authorized repair agents.
  • This contract will be cancelled in the event of your fraud, attempted fraud, or non-disclosure of any changes that affect this contract and no refund of Service Contract fee will be due to You.

The Claim will be settled within 15 working days from date of claim intimation.

Home Warranty is aAnnual Service Contract for Major Appliances of all leading brands at Home which are Out of Warranty upto 5 years from date of purchase. The Contract covers the cost to repair the product or replace the parts of Home appliances that break down over time.

Mechanical and Electrical breakdown to the extent provided by the manufacturer’s warranty for Domestic Electrical / Electronic Products manufactured in India or legally imported in India and sold through Official Channels which are out of warranty period up to 5 years from date of purchase. We offer plans on these products that cover parts of up to 30 apliances and systems. Home warranty helps protect you from unforeseen costs when covered components of home systems and appliances break down due to normal wear and tear.

This Annual Service Contract covers specific models of Domestic Electronic Products such as LED Color Televisions, Washing Machines, Refrigerators, Music Systems, Air Conditioners, Microwave Ovens, Home Theaters, Water Purifier, Air Purifiersand any other Product that we include from time to time.

The standard home warranty contract is for period of 12 months.

Home Warranty plan can be purchased any time through our website or app by selecting the plan based on number of appliances which are up to 5 years old only and various coverage amounts and is not transferable.

  • The Product is manufactured in India or is legally imported in India & sold through Official Channels supported by an invoice.
  • The Product is for domestic and personal use only. Cover is not valid on Products intended for commercial, rental or profit generation purposes excluding computing products for small office / home office use.
  • The Product is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines for Product usage including but not limited to regular maintenance & upkeep of the Product.

  • All repairs must be made by our authorized repair agents.

The Claim will be settled within 20 working days from date of claim intimation as there are number of factors that determine how long it will take for up to 5 years covered product to be fixed such as spare parts availability, nature of breakdown issue and scheduling the visits.

Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is anOptional Service Contract offered by WideCare Private Limited to its customers for Appliances like Air Conditioners, Water Purifiers and MicroWave Ovens purchased by them from any store in India for a period of one year from the date of expiry of relevant manufacturer’s warranty. AMC shall cover limited number of services as per plan selected under contract for ensuring proper working condition of the product.

AMC (Preventive) covers limited number of wet and dry services as per plan opted by Customer while (Comprehensive) covers only Operational parts which are critical to ensure performance of the product’s essential functions (Cost of all spare components that are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty), Cost of Refrigerant gas refilling if required and repair of associated gas leakage if required (if the gas leakage is not due to damage / mishandling etc)

  • Damage or Failure caused due to negligence / misuse / unauthorized modification or adjustment / alteration / normal wear & tear / tampering / liquid traces in the device / entry of insect, vermin or foreign object in device / voltage fluctuation / rat bites / natural calamities / act of god / rough handling / Candles mishandling / exposure to moisture, dampness or extreme thermal or environmental conditions or a rapid change in such conditions / corrosion /oxidation / forcible attachment / using liquids or non-recommended cleaners on panels & screen / use of accessories not approved / recommended in users' manual.
  • Attachments, Consumables, Cosmetic Parts, Cables, Softwares etc, Plastic & Rubber Parts, Lamp, Interconnecting cable, Rubber pads for Remote Control, interconnecting Copper Tubes, Aesthetic Parts & Stabilizer, Cabinet of the outdoor unit, Painting of body, Sheet metal parts, Any styling decorative material, front grill, condenser coil, evaporator coil are not covered under this AMC.
  • Un-installation & Re-installation of the Product in case of change of location requested by Customer is also not covered under AMC.
  • AMC will be void if the original serial number is removed, obliterated, defaced or altered from the product.
  • AMC does not cover third party claims against customer for loss or damages, loss of profit, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, loss of records or information, loss of use of the product or any associated equipment, or indirect, incidental or consequential losses or damages of any nature whatsoever.
  • If the product is used in Commercial, Business, Industrial, Educational or Rental applications.
  • Upgradation - In case product needs up-gradation due to reason not under control of Company, customer has to accept up-gradation at prevailing rates.
  • AMC will automatically terminate on the expiry of its validity even if the product may not be in use for any time during the primary warranty period for any reason.

Annual Maintenance Contract is for period of 12 months.

AMC can be bought within 30 days from date of purchase of product or 3 months before the expiry of brand warranty period from our website or app or any digital sale platforms.AMC will be offered to Customer other than above only after inspection of the product and ensuring that the product is in working condition. However, if product is outside warranty and not in working condition, then the product will be repaired on chargeable basis first and then AMC can be taken/issued to customer on execptional basis as decided by the Company.

  • The Product is manufactured in India or is legally imported in India & sold through Official Channels supported by an invoice.
  • The Product is for domestic and personal use only. Cover is not valid on Products intended for commercial, rental or profit generation purposes excluding computing products for small office / home office use.
  • The Product is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines for Product usage including but not limited to regular maintenance & upkeep of the Product.
  • AMC is non-transferable and shall be available only to the first-hand user of the product.
  • This policy is issued on nonrefundable basis, for any reason whatsoever. There shall be no refund of the charges for unexpired period.
  • The product shall be made available for servicing as and when our Authorised Service Engineer calls for rendering periodical servicing visit as per plan schedule. Failure to do so by Customer will be treated as a service rendered and no refund shall accrue on this account.
  • Every visit by our Authorised Service Engineer will be made within reasonable time from receipt of a complaint for breakdown of the produict.
  • Service will be provided during the normal business hours on working days of the Company and no visits will be made on Sunday / Holidays. Customers are requested to ensure that Service Engineer who is attending or visiting during complaint carry his ID card for identification purpose.
  • During AMC, for cases where the product set cannot be repaired at customer location and is required to be repaired at company’s service center, then Transportation charges will be borne by Customer.
  • This AMC is offered to customer residing within the municipal limits of city of Company’s Authorized Service Center. However, an additional amount of Rs. 300/- will be charged extra for each visit made outside the municipal limits of the City. The amount will have to be paid in cash to the Service Technician Engineer attending the Complaint for which a separate cash memo/ bill will be given.

  • Company’s Authorized Service Center / Engineer will only be authorized to perform Repairs / Service under this AMC for all covered product(s).
  • All faulty parts which are covered under AMC shall be replaced with compatible new or equivalent or reconditioned working parts while repairing the product under this AMC. The replaced parts must be handed over to the Service Engineer.
  • This contract will be cancelled in the event of your fraud, attempted fraud, or non-disclosure of any changes that affect this contract and no refund of Service Contract fee will be due to you.
  • The purchaser may transfer AMC if location of the product is changed within the service network of WideCare in any state, only in condition that the un-installation & re-installation of the product from one place to another place is done by authorized personnel of WideCare only. The customer has to register his request at WideCare call center to request change of location. WideCare authorized service center will carry out un-installation and reinstallation on chargeable basis and thereafter, the AMC will continue for unexpired period.

The scheduled visits as per AMC plan opted shall be done within 7 days based on Customer availability at his location. In case of emergency breakdown, Service request will be settled within 10 working days from date of intimation depending on factors like spare parts availability, nature of breakdown issue and scheduling the visits.

On Demand Repairs is anOptional Service offered by WideCare Private Limited to its customers in case of breakdown of Appliances like LED Color Televisions, Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, Washing Machine, Microwave Oven, Home Theater and Digital products like Mobile Phones, Tablets and Laptops. Customers can book repair service by paying visit charges, schedule repair time and pay the actual repair charges after work is done.

Visit charges may vary as per the products starting from Rs 99/- to 299/- for each visit.

The scheduled visits shall be done based on Technician availability within 24 hours from date of intimation in Metro Cities and 48 hours for Non-Metro Cities.

Yes. The packs have validity of one year from date of customer registration.

Each pack has offer inserts inside the pack as per the pack denomination along with Customer Registration Form. The Form needs to be filled with complete details including self-attested copy of Proof of Identity and Proof of Address, nominee details and state of good health declaration with customer signature. The filled form has to be submitted to partner outlet or mailed on support@widecare.in. The pack shall be activated within 72 hours of the receipt of the document.

Each pack has offer inserts inside the pack as per the pack denomination along with Customer Registration Form. The Form needs to be filled with complete details including self-attested copy of Proof of Identity and Proof of Address, nominee details and state of good health declaration with customer signature. The filled form has to be submitted with partner outlet or mailed on support@widecare.in. The pack shall be activated within 72 hours of the receipt of the document.

Customer needs to fill all the details including self and nominee online, upload Proof of Identity & Address, pay the amount through payment gateway. The pack shall be activated immediately upon successful payment and receipt of the correct document.

Customer on registration of the pack gets registered with WideCare and gets the following –

  • Gets Order mail confirmation and login credentials
  • Immediately receives complementary Personal Accidental Insurance and Term Life Insurance Protection with 1 year validity in his account which can be accessed by entering login credentials on www.widecare.in
  • Certificates can be viewed or downloaded in “MyPolicies” section
  • Receive discount vouchers as per plan denomination on protection plans for portable devices and Extended Warranty plans for consumer durables having validity of 1 year

Personal Accidental Protection is a comprehensive coverage against Accidental Death and Permanent Total Disablement.

The Coverage Sections under Personal Accidental Protection are – Accidental Death, Permanent Total Disability, Emergency Accident Medical, Repatriation Benefit.

ACCIDENTAL DEATH – Insurance company will pay the Principal Sum shown in the Policy Schedule if Injury to insured person results in loss of life. The loss must occur under the circumstances described in a Hazard within 365 Days from the date of the Accident which caused Injury. Insurance company will pay, the Principal Sum less any other amount paid or payable under: Accidental Dismemberment including Paralysis, Permanent Total Disability section of this Policy, if these coverages are offered under this Policy, as the result of the same Accident Limitation With regard to the Accidental Death of an Insured Person Age Seventeen (17) or below, the maximum Principal Sum payable is 10% of the principal sum insured. Exposure For the purposes of the Accidental Death benefit above, a loss resulting from insured person being unavoidably exposed to the elements due to an Accident occurring under the circumstances described in a Hazard will be payable as if resulting from an Injury. Loss must occur within 365 Days of the date of the Accident. PERMANENT TOTAL DISABILITY -When as the result of Injury occurring under the circumstances described in a Hazard and commencing within 365 Days from the date of the Accident insured person suffer a Permanent Total Disability, Insurance company will pay, provided such disability has continued for a period of 12 consecutive months and is total, continuous and Permanent at the end of this period, the Principal Sum less any other amount paid or payable under: Accidental Death, or Accidental Dismemberment, or Permanent Partial Disability, or Permanent Total Loss of Use sections of this Policy, if these coverages are offered under this Policy, as the result of the same Accident. EMERGENCY ACCIDENT MEDICAL – Insurance company will pay the Reasonable and Customary Charges, subject to the Deductible shown in the Policy Schedule, for Covered Medical Expenses incurred in the Republic of India by insured person for medical services which are not due to a Pre-existing Condition, up to the maximum amount and benefit period stated in the Policy Schedule forImmediate Medical Treatment of an Injury sustained by insured person, under the circumstances described in a Hazard, while this Policy is in effect. Dental benefits shall be limited to treatment of Injury sustained to Sound Natural Teeth. Covered emergency dental expenses are those incurred within 30 days of the time and date of the Injury caused by Accident subject to the per tooth limit and per occurrence limit shown in the Policy Schedule. REPATRIATION BENEFIT – In the event, accidental Loss of Life is sustained by an Insured Person, within three hundred and sixty-five (365) days of the date of the Accident, not less than 150 kilometers from the Insured Person normal place of residence and indemnity for such Loss becomes payable in accordance with the terms of this Policy, Insurance company will pay the actual expenses incurred for preparing the deceased for burial or cremation and shipment of the body to the city of residence of the deceased but not to exceed the amount as shown in the Policy Schedule.

Permanent – means lasting twelve calendar months and at the expiry of that period being beyond reasonable hope of improvement. Permanent Total Disability – means insured person is unable to engage in each and every occupation or employment for compensation or profit for which insured person is reasonably qualified by education, training or experience for the rest of his life. If at the time of loss insured person is unemployed, Permanent Total Disability shall mean the total and Permanent inability to perform all of the usual and customary duties and activities of a person of like age and sex.

Yes. Anybody between the age group from 18 to 50 Years can purchase Life Protection.

The cover shall be for a period of one year and may be extended subject to renewal of the policy and availability of the product. Only Death Benefit can be offered under this product. Accidental Death shall be covered for the first 45 days from the date of joining the scheme for a member. Suicide shall not be covered.

Yes. You are required to self-confirm your current health condition. Your claim may get rejected if it is established at the time of claim admission that the health condition declaration was not correct.

In case of the Death of the insured member, claim shall be settled in favor of the nominee. Customer need to submit Customer Declaration Form (CDF) at the time of buying the plan.

As per the provisions of Section 108 of the Indian Evidence Act, presumption of death can be raised only after a lapse of Seven Years from the date of his / her being reported missing. As such, the nominee / legal heirs have to raise an express presumption of death of the subscriber under Section 108 of the Indian Evidence Act, before a competent court. If the court presumes that he / she is dead, then the claim in respect of a missing person can be settled on the basis of the same.
