Personal Accidental Protection is a comprehensive coverage against Accidental Death and Permanent Total Disablement.
The Coverage Sections under Personal Accidental Protection are – Accidental Death, Permanent Total Disability, Emergency Accident Medical, Repatriation Benefit.
ACCIDENTAL DEATH – Insurance company will pay the Principal Sum shown in the Policy Schedule if Injury to insured person results in loss of life. The loss must occur under the circumstances described in a Hazard within 365 Days from the date of the Accident which caused Injury. Insurance company will pay, the Principal Sum less any other amount paid or payable under: Accidental Dismemberment including Paralysis, Permanent Total Disability section of this Policy, if these coverages are offered under this Policy, as the result of the same Accident Limitation With regard to the Accidental Death of an Insured Person Age Seventeen (17) or below, the maximum Principal Sum payable is 10% of the principal sum insured. Exposure For the purposes of the Accidental Death benefit above, a loss resulting from insured person being unavoidably exposed to the elements due to an Accident occurring under the circumstances described in a Hazard will be payable as if resulting from an Injury. Loss must occur within 365 Days of the date of the Accident. PERMANENT TOTAL DISABILITY -When as the result of Injury occurring under the circumstances described in a Hazard and commencing within 365 Days from the date of the Accident insured person suffer a Permanent Total Disability, Insurance company will pay, provided such disability has continued for a period of 12 consecutive months and is total, continuous and Permanent at the end of this period, the Principal Sum less any other amount paid or payable under: Accidental Death, or Accidental Dismemberment, or Permanent Partial Disability, or Permanent Total Loss of Use sections of this Policy, if these coverages are offered under this Policy, as the result of the same Accident. EMERGENCY ACCIDENT MEDICAL – Insurance company will pay the Reasonable and Customary Charges, subject to the Deductible shown in the Policy Schedule, for Covered Medical Expenses incurred in the Republic of India by insured person for medical services which are not due to a Pre-existing Condition, up to the maximum amount and benefit period stated in the Policy Schedule forImmediate Medical Treatment of an Injury sustained by insured person, under the circumstances described in a Hazard, while this Policy is in effect. Dental benefits shall be limited to treatment of Injury sustained to Sound Natural Teeth. Covered emergency dental expenses are those incurred within 30 days of the time and date of the Injury caused by Accident subject to the per tooth limit and per occurrence limit shown in the Policy Schedule. REPATRIATION BENEFIT – In the event, accidental Loss of Life is sustained by an Insured Person, within three hundred and sixty-five (365) days of the date of the Accident, not less than 150 kilometers from the Insured Person normal place of residence and indemnity for such Loss becomes payable in accordance with the terms of this Policy, Insurance company will pay the actual expenses incurred for preparing the deceased for burial or cremation and shipment of the body to the city of residence of the deceased but not to exceed the amount as shown in the Policy Schedule.
Permanent – means lasting twelve calendar months and at the expiry of that period being beyond reasonable hope of improvement. Permanent Total Disability – means insured person is unable to engage in each and every occupation or employment for compensation or profit for which insured person is reasonably qualified by education, training or experience for the rest of his life. If at the time of loss insured person is unemployed, Permanent Total Disability shall mean the total and Permanent inability to perform all of the usual and customary duties and activities of a person of like age and sex.

Yes. Anybody between the age group from 18 to 50 Years can purchase Life Protection.
The cover shall be for a period of one year and may be extended subject to renewal of the policy and availability of the product. Only Death Benefit can be offered under this product. Accidental Death shall be covered for the first 45 days from the date of joining the scheme for a member. Suicide shall not be covered.
Yes. You are required to self-confirm your current health condition. Your claim may get rejected if it is established at the time of claim admission that the health condition declaration was not correct.
In case of the Death of the insured member, claim shall be settled in favor of the nominee. Customer need to submit Customer Declaration Form (CDF) at the time of buying the plan.

As per the provisions of Section 108 of the Indian Evidence Act, presumption of death can be raised only after a lapse of Seven Years from the date of his / her being reported missing. As such, the nominee / legal heirs have to raise an express presumption of death of the subscriber under Section 108 of the Indian Evidence Act, before a competent court. If the court presumes that he / she is dead, then the claim in respect of a missing person can be settled on the basis of the same.

Yes. The packs have validity of one year from date of customer registration.
Each pack has offer inserts inside the pack as per the pack denomination along with Customer Registration Form. The Form needs to be filled with complete details including self-attested copy of Proof of Identity and Proof of Address, nominee details and state of good health declaration with customer signature. The filled form has to be submitted to partner outlet or mailed on support@widecare.in. The pack shall be activated within 72 hours of the receipt of the document.

 The above discount vouchers can be redeemed during 1 year validity period for purchasing WideCare plans for all new bought devices, consumer durables and home appliances within 30 days from date of purchase.
The Plan can be purchased through our partner outlets, alliance partners or directly through our website or application.
Extended Warranty (Also referred as Service Contract) is a comprehensive warranty program for devices / appliances of all leading brands which extends manufacturer’s warranty for a particular period.
Mechanical and electrical breakdown to the extent provided by the manufacturer’s warranty for Domestic Electrical / Electronic Products manufactured in India or is legally imported in India & sold through Official Channels supported by an invoice & Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee. The Extended Warranty cover commences on expiration of the Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee period and is for a period mentioned in the “Service Contract Details” section of the Service Contract Certificate. Any Product failure arising before the commencement of the Service Contract period i.e. during the Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee period or after the expiration of the Service Contract period will not be covered by this service contract.
This Service Contract covers specific models of Domestic Electrical / Electronic Products such as Color Televisions, Washing Machines, Refrigerators, Music Systems, Air Conditioners, Microwave Ovens and any other Product that we include from time to time.
The Extended Warranty commences on expiration of the Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee period and is for a period of Additional 1 Year, Additional 2 Years &Additional 3 Years from risk of commencement date as mentioned in the service contract.
This can be bought at the time of purchase or within 30 days from the purchase of the device as per original invoice and is not transferable.[/tpggle]
1) The Product is manufactured in India or is legally imported in India & sold through Official Channels supported by an invoice & Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee.
2) The Product is purchased new from the manufacturers’ authorized dealer / distributor and is supported by Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee of not less than 12 months and not exceeding 36 months.
3) The Product is for domestic and personal use only. Cover is not valid on Products intended for commercial, rental or profit generation purposes excluding computing products for small office / home office use.
4) The Product is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines for Product usage including but not limited to regular maintenance & upkeep of the Product.
5) Manufacturer’s Warranty / Guarantee remains valid throughout its validity period.
1) Costs implicitly or explicitly covered by any manufacturers, suppliers or repairers guarantee or warranty.
2) Non-operating and cosmetic damage to the Product, such as damage to paintwork, Product finish, dents or scratches.
3) Accessories used in or with the Product unless covered under a separate extended warranty service contract. (for example, computer software, modem, scanner, printer and charger).
4) Replacement of any consumable item or accessory. These include, but are not limited to: – plugs, fuses, batteries, light bulbs, light covers, cables, filters, attachments, belts, toner, ribbons, drums, tapes or software, and add-on options incorporated in a Product for which the Service Contract was purchased.
5) Normal wear and tear of items not integral to the functioning of the Product.
6) Routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, adjustments or alignments, overhaul, modification and de-scaling.
7) Damage caused by unauthorized repair, theft, burglary and accident including earthquake, storm and or hurricane, abuse, misuse, sand, dust, water, negligence, fire, flood, lightning, malicious damage, impact, corrosion, battery leakage, acts of god, animal or insect infestation or intrusion.
8) Damage resulting from power outage, power surges or dips, fluctuating voltage, inadequate or improper voltage or current.
9) Cost of removal or re-installation of the Product.
10) Reception or transmission problems resulting from external causes.
11) Problems or defects not covered under the original Manufacturer’s Warranty/ Guarantee.
12) Batteries, internal or external to the Product.
13) Breakdowns caused by computer virus or realignments to Products.
14) Recalls or modifications to the Product.
15) Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
16) Costs arising from incorrect installation, modification or maintenance.
17) Costs if no fault is found with the Product.
18) Costs arising from being unable to use the Product or from damage which results from the Breakdown of the Product.
19) Commercial usage except product used in rental property, as identified in the Service Contract Certificate.
20) Damage/failure caused before or during Product delivery.
21) Use of batteries, charger and / or accessories not approved by the manufacturer, incorrect electrical leads or connection.
22) The cost of repairing, restoring or reconfiguring computer software.
23) We are not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages arising from the use or loss of use of the Product. Your& the Customers statutory rights are unaffected.

a. All repairs must be made by our authorized repair agents.
b. This contract will be cancelled in the event of your fraud, attempted fraud, or non-disclosure of any changes that affect this contract and no refund of Service Contract fee will be due to You.
You may cancel this contract within 15 days of purchase of service contract. After expiry of 15 days, no cancellation and refund will be permitted.
The Claim will be settled within 18 working days from date of claim intimation.
